Clovis MainStreet and Clovis Community College have teamed up with a great group of students and muralist and art instructor, Michael Longhofer, to create a wonderful piece of art downtown for our community to enjoy for years to come! Watch as the mural progresses from week to week on our facebook page and see if you can guess the meaning behind the design!!
Christmas Light Parade Awards
Thank you to all of those who participated in the 2014 Clovis MainStreet Christmas Light Parade!! We had a lot of wonderful entries and appreciate all those who took time to decorate and light up floats, automobiles, horses, trees and even people!
The Christmas Light Parade is a special time to celebrate the holiday season as a community. It would not happen without those who participate and attend, as well as our volunteers and the work of the City of Clovis, Curry County, and our wonderful sponsors Xcel Energy and Rooney Moon Broadcasting. Thank you all!
Trophies for Best Overall and 1st through 3rd Place in each of the four categories (Large Float, Small Float, Automobile & Marching-Walking) will be awarded at the City of Clovis Commission meeting on Thursday, December 18, at 5:15 PM.
